June 6-12

June 6-12
Report from the week
We received some good news this week as a result of investigating the building and the layout for the plumbing that will make our build out a little easier. God is answering our questions each step of the way and providing for us little by little. A $15,000 “challenge gift” has been given so any money given through Labor Day weekend up to that amount will be matched.

What’s Ahead
The architect and engineers are continuing their work to prepare us for permitting. We need to continue to pray for and seek the funds for the project.

PRAISE!
God led us to answers for some significant questions we had about the project as well as some significant savings in costs.

What we are asking God to do
  • Wisdom for Pastor and the leadership team (Staff, Deacons, and our Project Manager, Ron Holbrook)
  • Approval of plans & issuing permits so work can begin
  • Pray for our architect and for Pastor Kicher as they work together on the plans. This is a monumental job and will consume a lot of time over the next few weeks.
  • Provision of funds so work can continue in a timely manner
  • Provision of materials and furnishings

Builders Notes

May 30 - June 5
Report from the Week
Progress continues to be made this week. Our architect was able to meet with some of the officials at the county office, including the fire marshal, and was able to get some good work accomplished. With just a couple minor adjustments our proposed floor plan will be accepted.

What's Ahead
Please continue to pray with us that the Lord will provide the funds that are needed. If you have friends or business associates that may be willing to make a contribution please contact them. If they need something in writing on church letterhead that can be furnished for you. Donation packets are being assembled for your use

May 23-29 Update

Report from the week

This has been an exciting week! The lease was signed on Thursday and an architect has been chosen for the necessary design and permits. Our architect will shepherd the project through the sometimes precarious permitting process and will also consult with a structural engineer to assist us with the planning for the second floor.

What’s Ahead

Our architect has told us that we can expect it to take about 3 weeks to receive plans for the project. Once the plans are in hand we will then be able to secure the building permits. While all of this is taking place we will be lining up the necessary subcontractors and working on a construction schedule. Please be praying that God will lead us to contractors and suppliers who will be fair and may even be inclined to donate some items or labor. If you have any contacts with suppliers please pass along that information to Pastor. Also if you have friends or family who would like to make a financial donation to the project we will be happy to issue them a charitable giving receipt.

PRAISE!

· God provided us with an architect that we are very comfortable with and we believe will do a great job.
